COME WALKING WITH US YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
Everyone is very welcome to come along with no need to book. There is a charge of 5 euro for each walk which includes a donation to charity. The walks are friendly and international; we have walkers from many different countries. Please remember the following:
- Wear shoes suitable for country walking
- Bring a sense of humour
- Although we respect people will walk at different paces, please remember these are group walks.
Tuesday, October 1 – Let’s Walk from Benaciate
A very easy circular walk through unspoilt countryside, tiny hamlets and orange groves hours – just over 2 hours
09.30 am start meet at the Café do Benaciate. Drive to Algoz and then take the road for SB Messines and Krazy World. After 7.5km turn left for Benaciate, drive for about 1km to the village and the cafe is in the centre on the right, (37.220825, -8.313187). Sean and Diane 926 558 751 or 925 637 121
Tuesday, October 8 – Let’s Walk along the river near Silves
One of our most popular walks that never disappoints. 2 hours of fairly easy walking with one gentle climb, the walk takes you along the banks of the Arade and Odelouca rivers.

Tuesday, October 22 – Let’s Walk from Nave de Barao near Salir
A moderate walk of almost 3 hours on the Barrocal limestone with some stunning views.
09.30am start – meet at the cafe in the centre of the village (37.220885, -8.076392). Drive to Parragil and follow signs for Benafim and Alte, after passing through Alto Fica you will see a sign to the right for Nave de Barao. The cafe is on the right in the centre of the village.
